Overview

Beautiful Seychelles is considered by many to be a very small Island nation, but it packs a big punch. This 115 island archipelago is known for its white sand beaches, crystal clear blue waters and unique granite boulders which will bowl you over with their beauty. The flora and fauna is also quite unique and indigenous to the island, the reefs and waters teeming with marine life and today the island is home to some of the most luxurious resorts in the world. After all, there are few places more isolated than this heavenly cluster of islands. (Even Kate Middleton and Prince William came here for a Royal Seychelles Honeymoon after exchanging vows.)

When the British explorers first stumbled upon Seychelles, an uninhabited Island group in the Indian Ocean they thought they had stumbled upon the Garden of Eden and so many who come here for a magical Seychelles Honeymoon or a Romantic Seychelles holiday ! The French and British have left their mark, leaving behind grand colonial architecture and Creole culture.

The three main inhabited islands are Mahe with the capital Victoria, Praslin and La Digue. Few tourists venture beyond these three islands. However if you want something more remote, what we mean is, if you are looking for some of the most exclusive and private resorts in the world - check our post below “Top Extra Ordinary Experiences in Seychelles
